The USGA Golf Museum offers a variety of educational programs and public programs that highlight the stories of our champions and championships.

Our curriculum is designed using the lens of golf history with tours and presentations that explore American history, politics, economics, civil rights, diversity, culture and character values. All lessons meet NJSS (New Jersey State Standards) and CCSS (Core Curriculum State Standards) requirements. In addition, the USGA Research and Test Center has developed lesson plans, guided interactive experiences and robotic demonstrations which provide teachers and students the opportunity to learn the “Science of Golf” through an approach that goes beyond chalk on blackboard to real-world equipment analysis, testing and evaluation.

Other programs, designed to entertain and engage adults throughout the year, cover a variety of topics and may include custom presentations, lectures, author talks and books signings, golf personalities and family activities. These are scheduled on a calendar basis and may take place at the USGA Golf Museum or at another specified location.
